Shaping future dementia treatments
As Alzheimer’s Research UK’s policy communications lead, I produced copy for a suite of assets to promote the charity’s ‘Shaping Future Treatments’ survey – a research project aiming to understand the public’s views about potential medicines for dementia.
The objective: to secure mass participation in the survey, while ensuring content was sensitive to those who were living with dementia or had been affected by the condition.
As well as developing key messages to support the campaign, I delivered promotional copy for a blog post, news release, newsletters and a toolkit for partners. I also fed into the development of the survey questions and the accompanying patient information leaflet – ensuring the language was accessible and in line with the charity’s brand guidelines.
The result: more than 10,000 people completed the survey, giving valuable information that will be used to inform the development and assessment of future dementia treatments.
